is being gay wrong to god

i want to ask GOD is it really wrong to be gay? because there are somethings that are man-made for example here a priest is for bid to  drink wine but Jesus and his disciples could?. i am half open minded. meaning i don't do crazy stuff but not narrow minded.  :)
